June 2012: OK, the web's moved on, the design of this site and the HTML behind it is ancient - but from the thankyou messages, people still seem to find the site a pleasure to use and it even works quite well on mobile devices.
March 2008: I'm chuffed: 'Time Out' has listed this as one of the '50 best London websites'. A good tenth birthday present for the Greenwoods Map web site. Thanks for this.
8th August 2005: site updated to reflect Bath Spa University College's change of title to Bath Spa University
The Greenwoods Map site has had an edit, to give it a better structure - which helps make it more accessible to everyone. If I've broken something, please tell me. The new version doesn't work well with browsers such as Netscape 4 - if you're using that browser now it probably won't be by choice, do plead with whoever's providing it for you to have it upgraded.
This site has been live from February 1998. If you've been here in the past, you'll notice that among other things there's now one more layer of 'Zoom' - which involves 500+ kilobyte files. The map now displays at very much more than life size (for the map, not the city), but you'll find that the rendering of central London is still not as good as it could be. If it's any consolation, this somewhat reflects the original document.
