June's educational work spans a wide range of academic
areas including teaching, research and co-ordinating
undergraduate, post-graduate and Masters courses in arts

Extending work beyond these course routes, are a wide spectrum of
arts projects, gallery and community-focused activities which June facilitates
with a diverse range of participants: arts performance and gallery
linked workshops, community events and sculpture trails involving
groups of young people. Central to her ethos is the model of the artist as
teacher, implemented through links established
between taught courses and ongoing visual art practice and
exhibitions, as well as
through collaborations with artists as co-creators and partners
within the art educational process. |
