June Bianchi combines her academic role as Leader of the Centre for Research in Arts Education, and National Teaching Fellow at Bath Spa University with her  work as an artist.  June has worked extensively internationally - exhibiting, lecturing, and presenting her artwork and arts educational projects at universities and conferences, as well as facilitating collaborative arts events with  groups across a huge range of ages and contexts.   June's interest, as both an artist and educator, is in celebrating diversity and pluralism, exploring its expression within personal, social and cultural contexts within the arts and in daily life. 

Recent exhibitions investigate the creation and expression of personal identity through the construction of the body and its appearance.  June's touring exhibitions include canvases, lightboxes and multimedia  installations with video, sound and poetry, alongside programmes of interactive workshops and events conducted with wide-ranging international audiences.  Collaborators include writer and performer Carol Cooke, musicians and young participants from New York, India, Europe and U.K.  June's work is supported by the Arts Council and a range of other public and private arts organisations.
