Crete is one of the 10 most popular Greek Islands. There are four provinces within the country of Crete. These provinces are Heraklion (the biggest province), Rethymno, Chania and Lasithi (the smallest province).
There are two airports in the country which fly to many different locations including other Greek Islands. These airports are located very close to the city centres in the provinces of Heraklion and Chania.
